This is possibly the world’s most perfect crab dip recipe.   Perfect for a day out on the water, or when you are missing the coast!

Mid-Atlantic Boater’s Crab Dip (16-20 servings)

1 pound crab meat (drained)
 Two 8-oz packages cream cheese
1 cup sour cream
4 tablespoons mayonnaise
Juice of 1/2 lemon
3 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
1/2 teaspoon hot sauce
1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
1 teaspoon Old Bay
1/2 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese + additional 1/2 cup for topping

Preheat oven to 325 degrees.  Combine all the ingredients except the 1/2 cup of shredded cheddar for the topping in a medium bowl.  Spoon into ovenproof casserole dish.  Sprinkle the cheddar cheese on top.   Bake for 30 minutes.   Serve with crackers or tortilla chips.    This recipe may be made in advance and frozen.  If has been frozen, baking time should be increased.   May be garnished with parsley flakes for color.
